Private Lessons: Saxophone and Clarinet

Are you or your child interested in taking  lessons?

I have been teaching privately for about 10 years and have experience teaching a wide range of students, from 4th graders to adults in their 60s, and beginners to more advanced high school players.

Contact me for availability and rates!

I teach 30 min. 45 min. and 60 min. lessons.

(In-home lessons available for a small extra fee)

Although saxophone is my primary instrument, I also regularly teach and perform on the clarinet as well.

I am comfortable working with students in a variety of styles as I have extensive experience performing,  teaching and studying  both classical and jazz music.

Lessons are appropriate for anyone, whether you are a beginner, struggling or advanced student, an adult who has always wanted to learn the saxophone, someone wanting extra guidance, or students preparing for festivals, competitions or college auditions, etc.

Reviews:

  • "Gabriel has said many times that you are his absolute favorite teacher.  Thank you for being such a positive role model and incredible inspiration to him :)"

  • Lucas is very talented and knowledgeable. He has shown me tips and techniques that are not in the beginner or intermediate lesson books. I am a beginner sax player and his insights on the saxophone and music have helped me greatly.

  • Lucas is very patient. He works around any obstacles that may pop up. He is very knowledgeable in teaching. Thankful we decided to try him. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good saxaphone instructor.

  • "Lucas has been amazing! He has worked with my schedule, accommodated my level of play and listened to my needs. His price is competitive. I would recommend him to anyone who is interested in learning saxophone!"

  • In just one lesson, intoduced the capacity of the saxophone to produce a classical tone, and opened my eyes to the many intricacies of the saxophone. Great experience!
